Sanford Hospital in Aberdeen is celebrating the first baby born in its new facility.
David and Camille Warne had their third child at the Sanford Hospital on Thursday.
Israella Warne was born at ten in the morning. The couple had hoped to be the first to deliver at the new hospital but didn't think they would be because their daughter wasn't due until the end of the month.
They say being first has had its perks. “We had pretty much the whole, whole staff to ourselves which was amazing. When we came in we had four nurses doting over us,” father David Warne said.
The Sanford Hospital officially opened its doors at the beginning of the week.
