Dr. John H. Windsor, Interventional Cardiologist, Joins Sanford Aberdeen
 
(Aberdeen, SD) — Sanford Health Aberdeen Clinic is pleased to announce that John H. Windsor, DO, FACC, FACOI, FCCP is joining its team of health care providers. Dr. Windsor specializes in Interventional Cardiology. Sanford's Interventional Cardiology specialists provide catheter-based treatments for heart disease. As minimally invasive procedures, catheter-based interventions can help reduce pain, minimize scars, decrease chance of infection and shorten recovery times.

Dr. Windsor is board certified in interventional cardiology, adult cardiology and internal medicine. His career has focused primarily within the field of clinical and interventional cardiology. He comes to Sanford Aberdeen from the St. Alexius Heart and Lung Clinic in Bismarck, ND where he served as a member of the clinic operating board. He is a past president of the St. Alexius medical staff, and has chaired many departments such as cardio-pulmonary services and the department of cardiology. Dr. Windsor has earned numerous accolades for his work in cardiology research and practice, including the Consumer Research Council of America’s designation as one of America’s Top Cardiologists and Best Doctors in America.

Dr. Windsor has held several teaching appointments including positions at the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery at the Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center, University of Mary School of Nursing, University of North Dakota Medical School, Department of Internal Medicine and at the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Windsor completed fellowships in adult cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills, NJ. He received his residency training in internal medicine from Oklahoma State University, Tulsa Regional Medical Center. Dr. Windsor earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from NOVA - Southeastern University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, North Miami Beach, FL.
