Sanford Aberdeen now offers patients with unexpected medical needs the ability to see a provider on the same day without an appointment at Sanford Aberdeen Clinic.
Walk in and acute care services are best for patients who are experiencing new, non-emergency needs like fevers, flu-like symptoms, cuts and minor injuries. For medical emergencies such as chest pain, numbness or a fever greater than 104, the emergency department or 911 is the best choice.
Walk-in hours at Sanford Aberdeen are as follows:
- Monday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 8p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Sunday: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
“This is another way to better serve our patients in the Aberdeen area,” said Ashley Erickson, Sanford Aberdeen executive director. “Our menu of walk-in services, acute care hours and electronic resources gives our patients several options for care whenever an unexpected illness or injury occurs.”
Patients can also use My Sanford Chart to stay in touch with their care team, as well as video visits and e-visits. Patients are also encouraged to use www.SanfordAberdeen.com to check on wait times.
